The vital question to be decided is whether the adjudication in bankruptcy of an insolvent partnership carries into bankruptcy the members of the partnership as individuals. On August 6, 1920, an involuntary petition in bankruptcy was filed against W. L. Becker and W. L. Becker, Jr., partners trading as W.'L. Becker & Co. and also as the Roanoke Provision Company, alleging that *704the partnership was insolvent and that it had executed, on August 4, 1920, a general deed of assignment to a trustee for the benefit of cred-. itors.
