Nolan v. Wittenmyer
Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas, Dauphin County
1Opinion of the Court
Fox, J.,
We have before us two rules. The petition by E. M. Greene for the first of these was filed on August 11, 1932, and the rule granted was to show cause why the balance of the purchase price bid by the purchaser at a sheriff’s sale should not be paid to the sheriff. The petition by Fred M. Nolan for the second was filed August 17, 1932, and the rule granted was upon the sheriff to show cause why he should not make his return according to the provisions of the Act of April 20,1846, P. L. 411. The two rules may be taken up together.
