The issue raised in this appeal is whether petitioner’s employment as a fireman for approximately twenty-three years caused or contributed to his development of pulmonary emphysema within the meaning of the occupational disease provisions of the Workers’ Compensation Act. Resolution of that issue requires us to decide how much workplace contribution is enough to trigger employer responsibility.
