The respondent, a convicted felon and in custody of the New York State Department of Correctional Services, is presently residing in the Central New York Psychiatric Center pursuant to an order of commitment made by Honorable John W. Grow on January 26, 2006. On April 4, 2006, the petitioner brought an application to treat the respondent, involuntarily, with anti-psychotic medication.
