SUTTON, Circuit Judge.

George G. Guagenti sued his former employer, the James N. Gray Company (the “Gray Company” or the “company”), alleging several violations of state and federal law stemming from his termination in February of 2001. The district court granted summary judgment to the company on all but one of Guagenti’s claims, and the parties settled the remaining claim prior to trial.
