This is an inheritance tax case. Sarah K. Waterman, a widow, died testate August 15, 1929, being at that time a resident of Seattle, King county, Washington, and leaving estate in that county subject to administration. Her will was duly admitted to probate, and, in the course of the administration of it, a controversy arose as to the amount of inheritance tax to be paid. This action was brought to determine that controversy. The decision of the trial court was in an amount much larger than the administrator contended was correct; and, feeling aggrieved, the administrator has appealed. There…
