MEMORANDUM OPINION

HEYBURN, Chief Judge.

In this case, Plaintiff, Louisville Gas and Electric Company (“LG & E”), seeks to recover damages from Defendants, Continental Field Systems, Inc. (“Continental”) and Advanced Welding Services, LLC (“Advanced Welding”), arising from a broken fan shaft on an electrical generating unit at the LG & E Cane Run Road facility. The damages it seeks include the cost to replace the fan shaft and some nearby equipment as well as lost revenues, such as the cost of replacement power purchases and lost profits due to LG & E’s lost opportunity to sell excess…
