In this CPLR article 78 proceed-

ing, initiated by order to show cause, the petitioner seeks a judgment directing the respondent to issue to her a certificate as a registered nurse.

The petitioner is a resident of this State and a graduate of an accredited nursing school. On June 19 and 20, 1974 she took and passed the nursing board examination for a registered nurse’s certificate in the District of Columbia, United States of America.
