Plaintiff-Appellant Edward Gray Corporation (“Edward Gray”) brought an action against its insurer, Defendant-Appellee National Union Fire Insurance Company of Pittsburgh (“National Union”), seeking damages for an alleged breach of contract. Edward Gray alleged that National Union, as its insurer, was required to provide and pay for Edward Gray’s defense in another lawsuit and had refused to do so.
