On Sunday afternoon, December 5, 1937, between the hours of 4:30 and 5 o’clock, an automobile driven by Ruble Smith collided with an automobile in which E. R. Huffman and his wife, Annie E. Huffman, were riding. The accident happened on the Scottsville pike about-three miles from the city of Bowling Green.
