This is an appeal by a former tenured university professor who alleges that his termination failed to comport with procedural due process. Joy Laskar, Ph.D., who was a professor at the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech), appeals from the district court’s order dismissing pursuant to Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 12(b)(6) his complaint brought under 42 U.S.C. § 1983 against Georgia Tech President G.P. “Bud” Peterson, Chancellor Hank M.
