A certificate for incorporation of a charitable organization to be known as “ German Jewish Children’s Aid, Incorporated,” is submitted to me for approval, pursuant to section 10 of the revised Membership Corporations Law (Laws of 1926, chap. 722). That statute requires the approval of a justice of the Supreme Court. The second paragraph of the proposed certificate of incorporation reads as follows: “ The purposes for which it is to be formed are purely charitable, to wit (1) to facilitate the entry of German Jewish children into the United States in cases in which their parents or other…
