The defendant, Alva Floyd Moore, was charged in the district court of Pontotoc county with the crime of murder, was tried, convicted and sentenced to death, and has appealed.
The attorney for the defendant was appointed by the court. We compliment him upon the vigorous and earnest manner in which he has presented his client’s cause.
