MONTIEL, Judge.

The appellant was convicted of murder, in violation of § 13A-6-2, Code of Alabama 1975, as charged in the indictment. He was sentenced to 60 years’ imprisonment.

On March 7, 1991, two officers with the Huntsville Police Department, Jack Pugh and Andy Jackson, were patrolling the area around a local housing project. During their patrol, Officers Pugh and Jackson observed three black males approach a truck.
