POSNER, Circuit Judge.
On July 12, the plaintiffs in a “reverse discrimination” suit pending in the district court — a civil rights suit that several white Chicago policemen had brought against city officials — asked us to vacate Judge Plunk-ett’s order (1) discharging the jury that had been selected to hear the case, (2) ordering that a new jury be selected, and (3) forbidding the parties to exercise any peremptory challenges in the selection of the new jury.
