This is an appeal by the defendant from the district court for Douglas county, in an action wherein plaintiff recovered a judgment for $12,000, for personal injuries sustained while he was attempting to board one of defendant’s cars at the intersection of Sixteenth and Farnam streets in the city of Omaha on the 4th day of February, 1918.
