This is an appeal from a judgment of the municipal court of Chicago for $498.44 against the defendant insurance company. The case was tried before the court without a jury.

James F. Bishop, public administrator of Cook county, was appointed administrator of the estate of Chester A. Anderson, deceased, by the probate court of Cook county on November 4, 1916. The letters of administration were issued at the instance of certain creditors of the deceased, who had claims against his estate for medical and hospital services and for funeral expenses, aggregating about $260.
