Defendant was convicted of multiple drug offenses and sentenced to five consecutive sentences. We affirm his convictions but remand for further sentencing proceedings.

This case presents an issue of first impression regarding appellate review of a trial court’s decision to impose consecutive sentences when imposition of consecutive sentences was not mandatory.
