This is a proceeding under the Workmen’s Compensation Act (chapter 123 of the Acts of 1919) in which there was an award in favor of the employee. The employer has appealed in error to this court.
The employer, Lincoln Memorial University, is an incorporated educational institution. It was chartered under chapter 142 of the Acts of 1875 as a corporation for the general welfare and not for profit. The university owns quite an extensive property.
