Melvin Luis Velazquez-Rivera appeals from his conviction for conspiracy to distribute 500 grams of cocaine^ and possession of one kilogram of cocaine with intent to distribute it. He argues that police lacked probable cause to arrest him and therefore the district court 1 should have suppressed evidence seized from a Ford pickup truck that was impounded upon Velazquez’s arrest.
