hln this ordinary-negligence case, Sarah and James Brantley appeal from the Benton County Circuit Court’s denial of their motion for a new trial following a jury’s verdict in favor of appellees Diane Wyatt and Northwest Arkansas Hospitals, LLC (“Northwest”). The circuit court had granted a directed verdict in favor of separate appellees Dr. Scott Smith and Pinnacle Women’s Health Care, PLC, at the close of the Brantleys’ case, and this decision was also at issue in the motion for new trial.1 The Brantleys argue two main points for reversal of both the directed verdict…
