Edward Hill was convicted in the circuit court of the city of St. Louis, Missouri, on a charge of embezzlement and sentenced to imprisonment in the penitentiary for a term of three years. He appealed.

Appellant has questioned the sufficiency of the indictment and has pointed out three alleged defects; first, that the indictment is indefinite, uncertain and misleading; second, that there is a misjoinder of causes of action in that it charges the defendant with a conspiracy, being a misdemeanor, and also embezzlement, a felony; third, that the indictment contains several offenses united in one…
