This case, which is before the court for the review of a judgment rendered by the Court of Appeal for the Fifth ■Circuit, may be stated as follows:

The administrators of the succession of Madame Delaneuville, joined by a majority of the heirs of the deceased, brought suit in the district court of the parish of St. John the Baptist against the heirs of Win. DuhS, a deceased grandson of Madame Delaneuville, for the revendication of certain real estate which their ancestor had sold to DuhS in 1892 for $1,100, represented by a promissory note, secured by mortgage,…
