This decision resolves post-trial motions filed by defendant Limet Vasquez (“Vasquez”). Between March 10, 2014 and April 29, 2014, the Court presided over the jury trial of Vasquez and co-defendant Carlos Urena (“Urena”).1 Urena and Vasquez are among the 76 people charged in a series of superseding indictments with violent crimes and/or narcotics offenses committed in connection with their membership in, and/or association with, a gang known as the Bronx Trinitarios Gang.
