Appeal from a judgment of the County Court of Essex County (Moynihan, Jr., J.), rendered May 7, 1997, convicting defendant upon his plea of guilty of the crime of attempted rape in the first degree.

Defendant pleaded guilty to attempted rape in the first degree in full satisfaction of an indictment charging him with the crimes of rape in the first degree, rape in the third degree, sexual abuse in the first degree, sexual abuse in the third degree and endangering the welfare of a child.
