JACKSON, District Judge.

It appears from the transcript of the record in this case that the bankrupt filed his petition on the 5th day of October, 1899, praying that he be adjudged a bankrupt, and that on the 18th day of November, 1899, he was adjudged a bankrupt, and at the time of his adjudication he filed a schedule of his property that he claimed as exempt under the constitution and the laws of the state of South Carolina. On the 4th day of January, 1900, the trustee set apart, as being exempted under the laws, personal property to the amount of $500 and realty to the amount of $1,000,…
