This was an action for damages by Hester Strother, as administratrix of the estate of her deceased husband, Robert Strother, for the alleged negligent killing of said Robert Strother .by the defendant, on the 29th day of July, 1895, while he was crossing its track at a place which, it is alleged, was a public road or traveled place.
