Appeal from a judgment of the Supreme Court (Viscardi, J.), entered April 7, 1988 in Clinton County, upon a verdict rendered in favor of plaintiff.

Plaintiffs decedent, Darwin A. De Coste, a 32-year-old custodial worker, was taken by ambulance to defendant Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital in Clinton County on January 8, 1984 at 1:14 a.m., complaining of intermittent chest pain and a headache.
