The plaintiff is the surviving parent of Peter Mauerman, who, at the date of the accident hereinafter mentioned, was a minor. She brought this action to recover the value of his services between the date of the accident and the date of his arriving at age, and, upon a trial before a jury, recovered a verdict for one thousand and.twenty-seven dollars.
