This is an action in trespass to try title originally filed by Gus Coleman and Isiah White, suing as representatives of, and for the benefit of, all former members of the Grand United Order of Odd Fellows, Port Arthur Lodge No. 7951 (hereinafter referred to as “Local Lodge”), “save and except the defendants, Jack Jones, Alec Joseph, Grant Insull, Ameal Burke and Ben Custer, as representatives of some twenty-six (26) men including themselves.” Later a plea in intervention was filed, in trespass to try title, by…
