Plaintiff, while in the employ of the Michigan Copper & Brass Company, suffered a compensable accident growing out of an injury to his left foot. A report of this accident was filed with the department of labor and industry by the Michigan Copper & Brass Company; and an agreement to pay compensation at the rate of $14 per week was entered into between the Michigan Copper & Brass Company and the plaintiff as of. May 19, 1927, and approved by the department May 21, 1927.
