This is a bill in equity, brought by the owner and the exclusive licensee of two letters patent to Charles E. Brush, — one, granted October 23,1877, for an improvement in illuminating points for electric lights, and known as the carbon patent; and the other, reissued May 20,1879, having been originally granted May 7, 1878, for an improvement in electric lamps, and known as the clamp patent, — charging the defendants with the infringement of each patent.
