(Appellants) appeal from a decision of the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas that granted partial summary judgment to The Mercy Hospital of Pittsburgh and individual doctors (Appellees) under the immunity provisions of the Health Care Quality Improvement Act of 1986 (HCQIA), 42 U.S.C. §§ 11101-11152, in a lawsuit filed by Appellants challenging the suspension of Dr. Manzetti’s open-heart and vascular surgery privileges at the hospital.
