FRYE, Justice.

Defendant contends that he is entitled to a new trial because of three alleged errors committed by the trial court. First, defendant contends that the trial court erred in denying his motion for continuance. Second, he contends that the trial court erred in allowing the prosecutor by his argument to place before the jury incompetent matters not raised by the evidence.
