On May 11, 1948, plaintiff and respondent, Louise Hol-brook, obtained a divorce from defendant and appellant, Merrill Holbrook. Mrs. Holbrook was awarded the custody of four minor children of the marriage, and by stipulation between the parties, was awarded the following property and support money settlements:
