FRYE, Justice.
The primary issues involved in this appeal are whether a trial court during a child support hearing must make factual findings to support its conclusion that only a part of the expenses claimed by a party are reasonable, and whether a trial court abuses its discretion by applying a formula to determine the noncustodial parent’s proportionate share of child support. We answer the first question yes and the second question, no.
