This appeal is from a judgment and order of sale of real estate belonging to Lucy J. Atwater, appellant, for delincjuent 1927 and 1928 taxes, rendered by the county court of Cook county. The lot in question is on the south side of Wacker Drive in Chicago and has a frontage of 22.8 feet and a depth of 140 feet. It is located between State street and Wabash avenue.
On June 21, 1922, the city council passed an ordinance directing that this lot be condemned for use as a public street. The petition for condemnation was filed in the county court of Cook county on October 22, 1923. The ordinance has…
