OPINION OF THE COURT

The Grievance Committee for the Fourth Department, Sev*13enth Judicial District, seeks an order pursuant to rule 1022.19 (f) (2) of the rules of the Appellate Division (22 NYCRR) suspending respondent from the practice of law pending consideration of disciplinary charges filed against him.

Respondent was admitted to practice by order of the Appellate Division, Supreme Court, Third Department, State of New York, on February 11, 1977. By petition verified the 12th day of October 1987, the Grievance Committee commenced formal disciplinary proceedings against respondent. In…
