Claimant, John Hall, Jr., filed an application for adjustment of claim pursuant to the Workers’ Compensation Act (Act) (820 ILCS 305/1 et seq. (West 1998)). He alleged that he sustained an employment-related injury to his lower back when he slipped and fell at work. The arbitrator awarded claimant 327 3/7 weeks’ temporary total disability (TTD) at $213.34 per week, $53,177.91 for medical expenses, as well as certain penalties and attorney fees.
