Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Kings County (Lagaña, J.), rendered January 6, 1989, convicting him of murder in the second degree, after a nonjury trial, and imposing sentence.

Ordered that the judgment is affirmed.

We reject the defendant’s contention that the People failed to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that he had the requisite intent to commit the crime of murder in the second degree.
