This action was brought by plaintiff April Iverson, formerly known as April Polachek, to recover the proceeds of a life insurance policy under which she was the named beneficiary.
In 1973, John Polachek, formerly an employee of defendant Scholl, Inc. (Scholl) obtained a life insurance policy under Group Policy No. 573—A, ID No. A—5457, and named plaintiff, his niece, the beneficiary.
