Following a bench trial, defendant Prince Davis was convicted of residential burglary and sentenced to 10 years’ imprisonment. On appeal, defendant contends that he was denied effective assistance of trial counsel based on counsel’s failure to present an adequate closing argument. Defendant also contends that the trial court failed to admonish him of his right to appeal his sentence, thus requiring that his case be remanded for strict compliance with Supreme Court Rule 605(a). 210 Ill. 2d R. 605(a). We affirm.
