HOEKSTRA, EJ.

(dissenting). In this medical malpractice action, this Court granted defendants leave to appeal the trial court’s order granting summary disposition to plaintiffs on the issue of proximate or legal cause and denying defendants’ cross-motion for summary disposition. Because I would conclude that reasonable persons could differ regarding whether the injuries of plaintiffs’ decedent, Jamar Jones (hereafter Jones), were legally caused by the alleged negligence, I respectfully dissent.
