The defendant was indicted for rape, was convicted, and sentenced to imprisonment for life in the penitentiary. The indictment is in the form prescribed by the Code, the proceedings are regular, and the trial was had, as the record shows, in strict conformity to law. A bill of exceptions was reserved, which recites all the evidence offered on the trial. No exception was taken to the rulings of the court in the admission or rejection of evidence.
