This case is before the Court on Defendant Julio Contreras’ motions for severance and an immediate trial. For the reasons stated below, the Court denies the motions.

BACKGROUND

Contreras is one of five Defendants charged in a fifteen-count superseding indictment involving the alleged activities of the Schuele Boys, an alleged gang that operated on the East Side of Buffalo.
