PRICE, Judge.

This is an appeal from a judgment awarding plaintiff damages for the refusal of a common carrier to sell him a ticket for passage from Shreveport to New Orleans.

Dr. Walter Dean Austin, Dean of Southern University in Shreveport, made a reservation in advance for passage on the Delta Air Lines flight leaving Shreveport at 11:00 a. m. on February 8, 1969, for New Orleans. Dr. Austin was accompanied to the airport by Reverend John Maple and Leonard Washington.
