Contrary to his pleas, Culinary Specialist Seaman Apprentice (E-2) Darron D. Ward, Jr., was convicted by a panel of officer and enlisted members sitting as a general court-martial of fleeing apprehension, rape, and communicating a threat, in violation of Articles 95, 120, and 134, Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ), 10 U.S.C. §§ 895, 920, 934 (2012).
