A Fulton County jury found Edward Maurice Palmer guilty of armed robbery, rape, and aggravated sodomy. Palmer appeals, contending that the trial court erred in (i) failing to direct a verdict of acquittal on all counts due to insufficient corroboration of his accomplice’s testimony and (ii) failing to direct a verdict of acquittal as to armed robbery because the proof of the crime was not consistent with the indictment.
