On November 30, 1998, appellant Dino Baiza pleaded guilty to aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon. See Tex. Penal Code Ann. § 29.03(a)(2) (West 1994). A jury found him guilty and assessed punishment at confinement for seventy-seven years, a $10,000 fine, and $7,000 in restitution.
