Peter Critz, Sr., being possessed of an estate amounting to some §50,000 or §60,000, departed this life, at his residence in Logan county, this State, on the 26th day of June, 1881, leaving an instrument purporting to be his last will and testament, which was subsequently, on the 18th day of July, 1881, filed by Hiram L. Pierce, the executor therein named, in the county court of said county, and asked to be admitted to record as such.
